Ti-Pure R706

Ti-Pure™ R-706 is a universal pigment that offers exceptional performance in interior, exterior, and industrial applications and possesses a unique combination of performance properties that may allow for inventory reduction. Ti-Pure™ R-706 is well suited for applications requiring high initial haze-free gloss and superior gloss retention over the life of the coating. A rutile titanium dioxide pigment, Ti-Pure™ R-706 is manufactured by the chloride process and is supplied as a fine, dry powder or in aqueous slurry form (R-746). It is specifically formulated to provide: exceptional gloss and semi-gloss performance; brighter, cleaner colours in tinted systems from a blue undertone; superior durability, gloss retention, and chalk resistance; easy wet-in; great dispersability in solvent and waterborne systems; high opacity. Applications where Ti-Pure™ R-706 is of particular value are: exterior architectural applications requiring high gloss and maximum durability; emulsion trim paints where maximum initial gloss and outstanding exterior durability are preferred; refinish and OEM topcoat applications requiring high gloss, distinctness of image, and resistance to weathering; manufacturing operations demanding fast wet-in and easy dispersion; high-durability industrial applications including coil coatings for residential aluminium siding, architectural building panels, and aerospace coatings.
