Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose (CMC) is an odourless whitish powder based on cellulose acquired from wood pulp or other natural sources. Tragacanth is based on the resin from the tragacanth plant. Both products have applications in medicines, toothpastes, hand lotions and denture adhesives.
