Carrageenan f.g.

Carrageenan is a naturally-occurring family of carbohydrates extracted from red seaweed. From this natural source, blends of carrageenans are developed with gelling, thickening, and stabilising properties. Carrageenan has excellent moisture binding capabilities allowing formulators to manage water and other aqueous fluids in their systems. It stabilises emulsions through its thickening and thixotropic properties.
