Pigment synergist for solvent-borne and solvent-free coating systems. Improves the effectiveness of polymeric wetting and dispersing additives when stabilising organic yellow, orange and red pigments. The synergist enables high-molecular weight wetting and dispersing additives to be more efficiently adsorbed on the surface of organic yellow, orange and red pigments, thereby increasing the effectiveness of the wetting and dispersing additives. Stabilisation of the pigments is improved and higher pigment contents are possible as a result of a reduction in the viscosity. The synergist is always used in combination with high-molecular weight wetting and dispersing additives and is recommended for coatings and pigment concentrates.
