BYK-3440

Surface additive for solvent-borne, solvent-free and aqueous systems with a strong reduction in the surface tension. Good wetting of critical substrates. No influence on surface slip. BYK-3440 provides a strong reduction in the surface tension of the coating systems and is therefore a highly effective additive for wetting critical substrates and for avoiding cratering. It is exceptionally compatible in solvent-borne, solvent-free and also aqueous coating systems. In pure aqueous emulsion systems (not containing organic co-solvents), the fluorine-free alternatives BYK-3455 and BYK-349 should be used for preference.
