BYK 1611

BYK 1611 is a VOC-free silicone-containing defoamer for aqueous coatings and adhesives and provides a cost-effective alternative to mineral oil defoamers. It is preferably used in dispersion systems within a PVC range of 35-70. BYK-1611 can be used in all aqueous dispersion adhesives as a defoamer and is more effective than BYK-1617. BYK-1611 is an Ecolabel-compliant silicone-containing defoamer for aqueous care products and cleaning agents, which can demonstrate its considerable defoaming effect already during production. This effect is maintained after application.
