BYK-081

Fluorine-free defoamer for solvent-borne and amine-neutralised systems. BYK-081 is a highly effective and spontaneous defoamer. It can be used in amine-neutralised, water reducible coating systems and in solvent-borne coatings. It is particularly suitable for high solid alkyd systems in the architectural coatings sector. The additive shows good compatibility with clear coatings. BYK-081 is not suitable for aqueous systems that contain little or no organic solvent as co-solvent. Especially recommended for architectural, industrial and wood and furniture coatings. Also suitable for can coatings and protective coatings.
