Alginic Acid

Alginic acid is used in anti-reflux suspensions, in tablets and as a natural disintegrant. Alginates are water-soluble biopolymers extracted from brown seaweed. Properties including gelling, film forming, thickening and stabilising. Alginates also have applications in the dental impression and denture adhesive market and in wound care and dermatology.
