VinsorbTM blends three UV filters to deliver increased stability for cosmetics, perfumes and personal care products.

UV light can induce changes that modify the chemical structure of dyes or fragrances in products. A more powerful solution to protect formulations against degradation through UV exposure is now available to formulators from Blagden. Called VinsorbTM, it is particularly useful for products sold in transparent packaging such as glass or plastic.

What is special about VinsorbTM is that it combines three UV filters to offer combined protection against UVA, UVB and UVC. The three filters work together to create a unique synergistic effect. They are:

A pale yellow liquid, VinsorbTM can be used in both oil and water-based formulations and is suitable for all types of cosmetic products. The ingredients are considered safe and are approved by the FDA and EU for use in cosmetics. It can be combined with a chelating agent or anti-oxidant for very light-sensitive formulations.
