OPTIBENT-602

Powdered rheology additive based on a modified phyllosilicate for aqueous, hydraulically hardening construction systems to increase the anti-sagging properties with good processing properties and improved open time. By developing a high flow limit, OPTIBENT-602 improves the anti-sagging properties of thick-layered plastering systems and reduces the slip behaviour of (cementitious) tile adhesives. At the same time, in many systems OPTIBENT-602 makes it possible to reduce other organic thickening systems, thereby contributing to consistent or optimised anti-sagging properties so as to improve the open time, without affecting the setting process. OPTIBENT-602 is particularly suited to mineral-based construction systems in which it achieves good anti-sagging properties at the same time as reducing adhesiveness.
