BYK A525 is a defoamer/air release agent for potting compounds, sealants and adhesives. It contains silicone. BYK A525 prevents foam and bubble formation during manufacturing and application. It demonstrates excellent air release characteristics in mineral-filled systems. It additionally improves wetting of quartz and glass fibres. It is especially recommended for systems based on polyurethane and epoxy resin.
