BYK-051 N

Silicone-free defoamer on polymer-basis and excellent compatibility with solvent-borne systems. BYK-051 N is the most compatible defoamer in the BYK-051 N/BYK-052 N series. It is particularly effective in polar solvent-borne systems. In non-polar systems, it is less effective. Due to its excellent compatibility, the transparency of clear coats is rarely impacted, even at higher dosage levels, and craters do not form in sensitive systems. The defoamer is recommended for solvent-borne automotive OEM coatings.
