BYK-8020

Silicone resin-based foam stabiliser for mechanically foamable PVC plastisols. The additive stabilises the foam in mechanically foamable PVC plastisols and is characterised by the formation of a fine, homogeneous and open-celled foam structure. This makes it possible to achieve a very good resistance to compression set. Compared to soap-based foam stabilisers, by using BYK®-8020 it is possible to achieve a drier touch and a reduced water uptake of the gelled PVC plastisol.
