Alginic Acid

Alginic Acid is a flavourless gum extracted from brown seaweed and works as a gelling agent, stabiliser and thickener, and can also be used to make foams. It is used as a stabiliser for ice cream, yogurt, cream, and cheese, acts as a thickener and emulsifier for a wide range of products and is a hydration agent for noodles, bread, cool and frozen products.
